Stable DNA Dyes – AzDyes and Green DNA Stain

To further optimize its product portfolio, starting from today, Jena Bioscience will rename its products as follows: "AF-Dyes" will be changed to "AzDyes", and "SBR Green" will be changed to "Green DNA Stain" and "Green-fluorescent DNA Stain". AzDyes

Traditional dyes such as fluorescein or TAMRA are usually affected by low photostability and low hydrophilicity. Moreover, these two parameters are key to detection sensitivity and bioconjugate solubility, respectively. AZDyes (structural analogs of Alexa Fluor® dyes) are fluorescent dyes with remarkable photostability and hydrophilicity.
